Should Purple members perform their solo material live at Purple shows?

I personally wouldn't mind seeing Steve unleash some Dregs or solo stuff with the band. I would especially like to see Ian Gillan doing some IGB or Gillan songs. Mad Elaine from Scarabus is one of the coolest songs he's ever done!
Roger has some solo stuff as well. The Mask was pretty good.
The only time I've known them to do this was for the Concerto in 1999, and with Tommy Bolin.
When I saw the Eagles several years ago Joe Walsh, Don Henley and Glen Frey all did their own songs. Joe even did a James Gang tune-Funk #49. So how 'bout it?

No, I don't think they should. They each have the option to pursue solo efforts in the small amount of down time they have from Purple. Steve tries to get out and do the Dregs thing periodicly, which is fine. Roger did the solo album. I don't think their solo material would fit with in the context of a Purple concert, and given that the sets are shorter these days, I don't want any time wasted with that material.

I think they shouldn't,they rather should be more divers with their own setlist. There is this lack of several Purple tracks which don't get played live.Purple should concentrate on that.

No!!!
Unless it's Blackmore. Is he still with them? I know they play a lot of his tunes live. If he's still with the band then it's 3/5 Rainbow isn't it? Hows about "Lost In Hollywood".
If he's not with the band anymore than they can still play some Rainbow because they have two ex-members. How about Eyes Of The World. No...that won't do, it wouldn't sound right if it were to be widdled upon now would it? I don't think Gillan can handle GB's vocal spot anyway.

I didn't mean Graham Bonnet. IGB is for the Ian Gillan Band circa 1975-1977.

Well they have two ex-Black Sabbath members, two ex-Whitesnake members, two ex-Rainbow members and two ex-Gary Moore Band Members so why don´t mix that all up?!

No they shouldnt but putting a small piece of a song into Jam and kinda just incorporate it into the song but other then 20-30 seconds of part of a song..NO!

Like in Nobody's Perfect they play a different song in the middle of Woman From Tokyo and Play Jesus Christ Superstar in the middle of Strange Kind Of Woman? I cant remember

Along with a bit too much non-purple releated cover tunes.
