Foghat Live is one of the best!!!
This album is one of the best live album I heard, it only have six tracks but all are awesome, from the opening "Fool For The City" to "Slow Ride", this album rocks!
Tracklist:
1. Fool For The City
2. Home In My Hand
3. I Just Want To Make Love To You
4. Road Fever
5. Honey Hush
6. Slow Ride
The Players:
"Lonesome" Dave Peverett (lead vocals/guitar)
Rod Price (lead guitar/vocals)
Craig MacGregor (bass/vocals)
Roger Earl (drums)
Your really gonna enjoy this album, live album like this comes only once in a blue moon, so for the sake of rock and roll please listen to this album.

Re: Foghat Live is one of the best!!!
True, Randys! A somewhat overlooked + underrated little rock gem, not least of which by myself! I'm not sure if I included it in my little list of "essential" live rock albums, but if I didn't, I hope someone mentioned it, as it definitely belongs on anyone's list.
Foghat put on some damn good shows back in the 70s - I know I saw them sometime in the early - to - mid '70s (at least twice with other acts), and then again in either the late '70s or early '80s (on a double bill with Rainbow)...I think they played with Bob Seger another time I saw them...or maybe Ted Nugent...or was it Grand Funk? I think it was one of Michigan's finest, anyway!

Re: Foghat Live is one of the best!!!
The album that made me a true rock fan. Roger Earl's drumming may not be the most intricate but the sheer power he plays with pushes that band.
Rod Price is the best slide player in rock, period. I don't want to hear Duane Allman or anybody else's name.

Foghat is highly under-rated.Their official Live album and the KBFH are great live performances!
Their first three studio albums are some of the best southern/boogie/rock albums too.

Re: Foghat Live is one of the best!!!
I loved Foghat. I bought the one with Maybelline when it came out after seeing them do it on Don Kirschners Rock Concert. Then came FFTC and of course the excellent live album. I may have mentioned it on my list of must have live lp's if I even listed anything at all. Another good live one from that era was Derringer's live album.

Some good honest 70's rock stuff but let's not insult Duane Allman. Duane wins for taste and tone. Jim S.
