Colosseum - the Valentyne Suite

Disclaimer: I only heard the first 3 songs! (ok, 21/2)

It starts off with a shocking great bass line,a sort of late-60's groove (??) and I think, oh, this doesn't sound bad at all! A couple of minutes later I find myself grinding my teeth, looking for a great big hammer to smash up my CD player! emoticon As I kinda like my CD player, I decided to put the CD away. I guess I don't really like the Blues.

But... but... isn't the drummer even better than Bill Bruford?

That's exactly how I felt... like people who can't stand Yes listening to Yes, if you see what I mean emoticon

(Listening to YES right now, incidently!)

Why didn't you lend her Colosseum then?? emoticon

Ok, sorry Milan, I'm just being silly. Actually it does sound like a very good bunch of musicians, it's just not my musical cup of tea emoticon Maybe I should try playing it again when my Yes obsession wears off emoticon
