Re: So, Morse og Airey co-wrote Perfect Strangers?
Maybe this thread/topic should be sub-titled "Shades of The Billboard 1973 Music Awards".

Some covers are pretty accurate though...
"Richie" without a "t" cos' that's how he signs it...

Not in the cases where I've met him, he signs my stuff with a "t" in his signature.

I'm sure of that... I was only quoting the cover sleeve of "Live in London" 1974

Is there a video of that piece of nonsense existing ?

Yes there is, unfortunately... if you'd like, I could direct you to it, by way of email, unless you want to navigate for it on the Hub, but it's grouped in with another performance, so I forget filename, so I have to search for it myself, I'd be glad to send it, along with the other performance w/Bradford.

Re: So, Morse og Airey co-wrote Perfect Strangers?
So, Morse and Airey co-wrote Perfest Strangers
Well, Perfect Strangers did came about during a jam in the studios during the recording of Difficult to Cure so the riff could be by Airey/Blackmore/Glover.
I think things like this show the fault in not putting the whole band as writer.
Didn't Jon Lord put a real fine solo in there???
When the Levee Breaks by Page/Plant (so one of them wrote drum sheets for Bonzo to play??? don't think so)
This could raise the problem in live shows. Should Airey be credited for his work. Maybe not because an impro is the normal thing to do when you play live. The guys who recorded/wrote it in the studio set the standard. I think Whitesnake did it best on Come and Get It where every soloist is listed. Still the guyes who play on a live album are usually listed by name and if the somgs are not credited as "Deep Purple", but with band menbers name (at the time of writing) there sould be no confusion. If members if the audience is wondering is this a impro solo or a copy of Blackmore/Lord then they sould take the effort finding out themself.
Cheers
Harald
