Re: Rapture and Steve Morse
Thank you,
and sorry for temporary losing control,
I guess naughty multiple powers must have
cast a spell of motivation on me, so it
wasn't really my fault.
Erm, back to topic I'd say..

Re: Rapture and Steve Morse
I know what will be great for Morse and Purple, man I heard the "FIREHOUSE - Good Acoustics" as obviously it includes acoustic songs, it's good,it's great, I sincerely think that Morse style will fit like gloves.

Steve Morse still plays the same but he still wibble or whatever you call that and it really pisses me off. I can hear thet Morse is trying very hard to eradicate it, but he can't because it's his style coz he is trying to make-up for the hard rock sound that he did not have in his system, that is why he is playing like that, coz he does not have a clue of what he is doing.
I expect Larry Dude and Fireball to cast the first stone.
I hope it's only a stone not a cannon.
BOOM!
Morse plays great music - Deep Purple have never been an exclusively hard rock band which makes them a very interesting band. God forbid if they were trying to capture the "glory" days - it would be limited and BORING just like the reunion was becoming. See I can be nice! Happy New Years guys.

Re: Rapture and Steve Morse
Well said Fireball. Purple will pack 'em in to hear this one. Lyrics are best in this era except Wrong Man/Clearly Quite Absurd. Love ROTD well done DP. See yer in the new year.
Criticism is healthy but why all the comparison with other eras we are lucky to still have a great performing band. No one is asking you to see them just to let others enjoy. New material is the life blood of a great band.
