Re: Rapture tour setlist

I'll take nothing from Bananas thank you...tired of it,but Purpendicular needs to be put back to use,and maybe Seventh Heaven or one track from Abandon...I'm sick and tired of I Got Your Number...which I can almost guarantee they will play.

When I saw Yes in the round...first in the round tour...they have yet to top that...when I saw them in 1984 in Seattle and Portland and met them backstage, which was delightful..Tony Kaye especially....they were a completely re arranged band...but I never thought it was for the better, just as I don't think Purple have been since then, but I take into consideration that they conciously made the choice themselves to evolve as such...whether or not anyone subscribes to this fact...I could care less, and I back both bands for their decisions to grow as much as they see fit...because when you stop growing...you DIE,period.

Fact.

Fact? Not quite.

They are making new albums and trying to promote them. Other bands tour without making new albums. Now those rely on nostalgia.

Whether the new albums are good enough is a matter of opinion not fact.

Yes they do promote their latest album...but how much will we hear from Banananas or Purpendicular on the next tour? It will be a few tracks from RotD and the rest will be Machine Head.

A legitimate complaint but for a different argument. Doesn't make them a nostalgia act.

Flight, but I don't think they have that high energy...well not that high anyway,Living Wreck would suffice though.

I would hate to see speed king go ,. it has rescued many a dodgy show (especially knebworth). I hope they do fools again but without the widdly bits and the dupey doo bits. I still like silver tongue as a 1st or 2nd number.

I think the most important thing is that Morse plays as many AC/DC and Ted Nugent riffs he can think of.

Funny. But that's probably right on.

Instead of Leslie West assisting with SOTW this time, how about JLT assisting w/ King of Dreams?

Surely, I jest.
