I think it will take a while still before the soundclips will be published.
I´ll abstain, though. The first impression I want to get is when I insert it into my CD player and press play.
Clearly quite absurd!
You could only hold out for one day, I knew you'd never make it.
You don´t get opportunities like this every day my friend.
When the clips get posted I won´t listen to them(and I hadn´t anyway). I know that I liked what I heard, but that was after three pints and in the early morning hours, I must admit that all I remember is immensly enjoying what I´ve heard so far.

Talking about listening to songs on the net before they get released, have you heard The Painter from Neil Young´s upcomming album yet? It´s on his website and a blast!

Glad you liked what you heard, that's the main thing.

Re: First Rapture of the Deep review
According to what I've listened in the promo, ROTD seems to be a step forward in DP's history. It sounds brilliant and the songs, al least the pair of minutes I know, are better than Bananas. And I hope it will be the best DP album since Ritchie's gone. Some claim Purpendicular is that one, but I can't avoid to skip some songs. If I count, in Morses's debut I skip more songs than in Abandon and Bananas. And I wouldn't do so with the samples I've heard.
Rapture of the Deep, the song, is really cool. That organ/guitar oriental melody is a mixture of Lazy and Gates of Babylon. Very nice Gillan singing too. Is the song I`ve liked the most till this moment.
I am eager for the complete album, I want it to be out tomorrow!! Deep Purple still rocks, guys. We should be really proud of them. Alive and kicking hard. And not living from old memories, as Sabbath and Zepp do. Nor auto copying formulas, as AC/DC or Iron Maiden. That's why I will always say that Deep Purple is the BEST band in rock's history.
--- I'm a Speed King, you gotta hear me sing!! I'm a Speed King, see me fly!!
Eeeeaaaooouuwww!
