Re: Rapture
I see no reason to go diving:
"rapture
n 1: a state of being carried away by overwhelming emotion; "listening to sweet music in a perfect rapture"- Charles D1ckens
That'll do!

Is this from the last Deep Purple world tour?

I think a band referring to it's own name in an album title after close to four decades of existance is a sign of having very few ideas or just bad taste...
Like PURPendicular? Shades of Deep Purple? Deep Purple In Rock? Come Taste THE BAND?
The first album is understandable. In Rock is a close call - even if the full name of the album seems to be how you wrote it. CTTB has nothing to do with the words 'deep' and 'purple'. But yes, Purpendicular is a tacky title for a DP album.

Re: Rapture
I really couldn't care what the title of the album is. As long as the music is good on it and i'm sure it will be I'm really looking forward to it now!

Re: Rapture
Agree, but I still think the title is kind of clever. Purpendicular was a great title signifying a change in direction - not a complete 180 degrees turnaround, rather....

Re: Rapture
Ian Gillan says this is a 'retro' DP album, whatever that means!

No, I don't think so because I can't find any stadiums in Russia among the places listed

Show the world that love is still alive you must be brave
