ROTD Release october(3rd?)
Just read an article that mentioned the release date of ROTD was on october 3rd. I looked it up and that could be true as it´s a monday. The article was from july 6th.
And if that´s true you lucky bastards in the rest of the world except USA and Japan will get it earlier than me, as that day is a national german holiday, so we´ve got to wait till tuesday!

For some reason my special James Bond Special Fancy Foriegn Language Decoder isn't working and I could only make out "Deep Purple","CD", "3/10","Rapture of the Deep". If all goes well that means it will be released on March 10th.
Hmmmph... That's the last time I go with the cheap, open box James Bond Special Fancy Foreign Language Decoder. Next time I'll pay the extra nickel for the shiny one in the new box.
You're not the only one who has to wait. We here in the US usually don't get new releases until Tuesdays and Thursdays anyway and it might be X-Mas before I get one since the new BN DVD and CD are ahead of it in the priority line. And by then I'll be so excited to have BN tickets for Dec, that DP probably won't matter much for a while anyway, so March 10th might just be right for me anyway.
Sorry..as I know everyone will be hanging by a thread and sweating waiting my review.

Re: ROTD Release october(3rd?)
Yeah, artwork has been posted in this forum already (http://com3.runboard.com/bdeeppurplefanforum.fraptureofthedeep.t14) and promos must be out as I've seen reports about journalists who has heard the album (can't remember where now, sorry). Keep an eye out on your favorite torrent site. :^)
But as always with DP, it's the way this news breaks. It is once again a sad example of the poor DP PR department. No, I will not claim THS should be the first to have the cover but shouldn't at least the band's official website be where fans find news like this? And again, keep your eyes on those downloading sites. I have a feeling Edel doesn't hold as hard in their promos as EMI did and "Bananas" promos found their way out on the market pretty quick, even though they were "copy protected".
