So, Deep Purple's new album made it into the Top Ten on the BBC charts. Hopefully, it will continue to do well. Seems like the band, their new label and management are all working hard to promote it, which is good. You have to be creative promotionally in today's strange music scene.

ohboy!!!
here in sweden it entered at no22 at the top 40 albums!!!!
at the hardrock charts in went into number.................1!!!!!!!!!!
ahead of Nightwish,ramstein and others!!!!!
the sad thing is that the newspaper who shows the charts as ''forgotten'' Deep Purple in the hard rockchart. emoticon
but if one take's a look at the top 40,purple is ahead of Ramsteins latest,which is at no1 at the hardrockthing.............. emoticon
Bananas didn't enter that high on top 40.

No. 10 in Germany. Better than the releases from the 90ies, but not as good as Bananas, that entered the charts at 3. But that's no surprise, due to the Bananas release party in Berlin some days before the album release there was much more media coverage two years ago...
