I've seen the same thing. In fact, the crowd was ready to kick the you know what out of him before he had to be rescued by security and was escorted out.
People come to the show to listen to the music, not to listen to some loudmouth who is still living in 1972.

Cheers mate, and thanks for the reply.
One small word of caution though - its not as if any of us should have anythin against fellow forum member Stargazer (brilliant user name!) - we're all on the same side here and appreciate Purple. It's a band that raises passion(s) and where would be without that eh?
I think all I was pointing out to our friend was that maybe he should cool it just a fraction - I'd rather buy the man a pint than have a fight (poetry not intended).
Anyone who has the class to use such a classy name as Stargazer desrves some respect! (as does "Diostillrocks" - yes, indeed!!)
I'm such an amicable sort after all eh!
Cheers

Re: Rapture of the Deep American release.
If a band changes in direction I don't like, I don't attend a concert by that band.
I never liked Bad Company without Paul Rogers and never attended a show when they had a different lead singer.

Re: Rapture of the Deep American release.
I never got postponed. The first release date issued was october 3rd. That proofed unrealistic though so the final release for the european version was announced October 21st(which it still is) and then a bit later the official American release date was announced, which was and still is November 1st.
