posticon ROTD Release Date 21/10/05

According to the german DP Fansite http://www.the-aviator.de Edel confirmed the official release date for Rapture Of The Deep as the 30th September. This is due to a general rescedueling of release dates from mondays to fridays it won´t be on the 3rd(in germany 4th, oh what a luck!) october then(which would have been monday, and due to the holiday on the 3rd in germany the 4th) but on the friday before that date.

UPDATE: The actual release date is 21st October 2005!

No news of an American release? I hope it's not like Bananas where America was a month or 2 behind everywhere else.

I´m afraid that will be the case, as Edel is for germany and europe only I think and there´s neither a japanese nor an american label confirmed yet.

Being that it's August already, I am assuming that there is no American label to distribute the soon to be masterpiece entitled "Rapture of the Deep" (I hope it is anyway)
Will the Highway star have it available through their shop on Sept 30th? I can at least get a copy and donate to the site that way.

I´m sure they will. That would mean you´d have to get a pricey import by an european amazon, though.

Do I have an option? If there is no American label then I am stuck if I want it.

I´m sure there will be one, it´s just that you probably will have to wait a bit longer(and yes it might be like it was with Bananas which was 1 1/2 months I think).

Yes, but I thought that there was at least a label mentioned before the release of Bananas?

Also:
Is it just me or is there less hype? enthusiasm? for this new cd or is it just me? It could be just me. I am not sure I am wanting a heavier harder Purple. I was quite happy with Purpendicular and Bananas.

I´m really looking forward to this one, especially after Gillan´s latest letter. This should be a good one!
