Caramba update today:

http://www.gillan.com/friends38.html

Also features a quote of the lyrics of Before Time Began:

"Every day of my life I discover
Someone murdering my sisters and brothers
In the name of some god or another
What do you know?"

Yeah though Ian's latest rants were giving me a headache I managed to catch those few (initial) lines too. Then it all becomes a blur... sorry Ian, but it's 103 degrees here and I think I will liquefy soon.

Found this at http://www.the-aviator.de/

"Roger Glover: "Rapture of the Deep should be released later this year, probably October. Titles include "Rapture of the Deep", "Girls Like That", "Wrong man", "Junkyard Blue" and "Back to Back". Ian Gillan is in Los Angeles at the moment, finishing up some of the vocals."

The titles sounds like tracks from the upcoming albums of Lynyrd Skynyrd or the Allman Brothers Band. emoticon

Well, this could be something new from Purple, they are creating a new style called Southern Metal Rock. emoticon emoticon

Well, i think you´re just biased because of the whole Steve Morse/Country,Southern stuff people use to talk about ! emoticon They could easely be songs of the upcoming Oasis album or of the next Franz Ferdinand album ! emoticon IMO, they sound like Deep Purple titles :P eheh

Brandheiße News zum kommenden Deep Purple-Album "Rapture Of The Deep", das nun doch erst am 21.10.2005 veröffentlicht werden soll. Die Songs heißen

    * Money Talks
    * Wrong Man
    * Rapture Of The Deep
    * Girls Like That
    * Don't Let Go
    * Before Time Began
    * Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye
    * Back To Back
    * Clearly Quite Absurd
    * Things I Never Said
    * Junkyard Blues (vorraussichtlicher Bonustrack Japan)
    * MTV (vorraussichtlicher Bonustrack für eine Limited Edition in Europa)

i don't speak german (i'm spanish) but it seems the track list from ROTD emoticon
