Re: Scorpions--Unbreakable
Well this album must be very good since it did NOT charted in the American Top 200.
The barometer for me is if the American did not buy this, it must GOOD, by the way William Hung is still in the charts, I remember when I heard his other songs on Tower, I had a splitting headache.

Re: Scorpions--Unbreakable
I'm also thinking that since Aerosmith's HONKIN' ON BOBO did not stay on the top of the charts for long like the previous Aerosmith albums and might not sell as many records as the previous albums did, I came to the conclusion that this album must be GOOD and could be Aerosmith's best album in years.

Re: Scorpions--Unbreakable
There was someone here a while back that said, new Scorpions a must have. Good thing i downloaded it off the net, cause after 2 or 3 listens its only a 5 or 6 out of 10. For a comeback album after 5 years it leaves something to be desired. Good call on the production Gillans Micstand, it does have good sound to it. I also noticed the lead breaks are not up to standard.

Re: Scorpions--Unbreakable
Yes,the lack of great lead breaks is what bothers me too, especially when they make you anticipate them, and then fail to deliver.
It's like they are buiding up,but they never quite work.

Re: Scorpions--Unbreakable
I shall be passing on this one - no solos or bad ones pretty much kills an album for me.

Re: Scorpions--Unbreakable
I find the material a mess, and I'm done with it!
It's fine by their standards I'm sure, but there is more to it than just pleasing yourselves and your fans, which I'm not altogether sure that was the idea here.
The band is playing as good as ever though,I'm just not happy with the material.
