What WA records are you still missing, Rahul?

There are still a few remaining, that I will eventually get. I made it a point to get all of the seventies albums at least!

After that, I still need:

Just Testing
Number The Brave
Live Dates II
Twin Barrels Burning
Raw To The Bone
Live in Chicago
Live in Geneva
Illuminations
Live at the BBC
Psychic Terrorism
Live Dates III

So basically, most of the 80s albums and the live ones!

I also have one bootleg, and a live video. Laurie Wisefield is !@#$ hot in that one.

If you get any of these albums before me, let me know what they are like!

And whatever you are doing on the 27th, cancel it! emoticon

Well, my system is chronological every Mark 2 album a month so: January: There´s The Rub, February: Locked In, March: New England, April: Front Page News, May: No Smoke Without Fire and June: Just Testing.

So if you don´t get Just Testing before june I´ll probably have it before you!emoticon

I would, if there was anything to cancel. My problem is that there´s no way for me to get there. If I´d go by train I wouldn´t be able to come back the same evening and that´s impossible...Well and before I´d find someone who drove me there, I´d first have to find someone who has every heard of Wishbone Ash! emoticon

A word of advice. When the month comes round for you to purchase Trance Visionary, just stay in bed instead! emoticon

Shame about the gig! It's definitely worth seeing, but staying the night is certainly an expensive problem a lot of us could do without!

Is that the techno/dance album they did? Curious...

Yeah, that's the one! I guess it's not a bad album if you like that kind of thing. But really, it's not what I prefer to listen to!

A strange album, and certainly should not have had the Wishbone Ash name on it!

It's more of an Andy Powell experiment.

Psychic Terorrism was an alernate version of it, I think.

A possibility for me to stay overnight would probably be sleeping in Andy´s guitar case. But I doubt he´d agree!emoticon

I think it´s quite a good system for me to only get one WA album per month. This way I have more time to care for the new material and don´t just go on and see what I prefer on other albums(older albums still get the regular airplay of course!emoticon).

Yeah, PT will probably be the last one I will get, unless I see it for cheap. Not too concerned about that release other than to complete my collection.

A gem of an album to get is the unplugged Bare Bones release! Fabulous! But you will still have to wait the best part of a year before you get to that one! emoticon

Re: There´s The Rub - A Review

You know, expanding my collection is harder than you think. I buy 5-10 CDs a month of which there are as much used as possible. Then there´s an average of the same amount of vinyl the same month. I really have to make plans where to put my money(okay music and beer that´s all!emoticon). So this year it´s much of Wishbone Ash, Neil Young, Pink Floyd, Dream Theater, Trapeze, Captain Beyond(if I´d find it), Warhorse, Jon Lord, the rest of Glenn Hughes(three albums) and Chris Farlowe´s 90s and 00s outputs.
That´s the musical year for me(no idea where to get the money for the gigs!emoticon).
For next year I have rough plans for the seventies outputs of King Crimson and Genesis already(but that´ll change anyway).
In addition to all that there come albums I didn´t except to buy before I stood in front of the CD stand in the shop.
I think musically this is to turn out to be a great year, anyway!emoticon

You must have a great job if you can afford all that!
