Re: Birmingham 9/11/03 (Review)
And why should'nt Ritchie be able to rip Ian every once in a while, he is a washed - up punk who has been living off of Ritchie riffs for the past 10 years.

So if you are saying I'm a Child In Time
I'll take that as another compliment.
This isn't the place for personal attacks
so I suggest you keep it clean.
Have fun Jarhead.

As usual, a very good review from Mr Meadows. Can someone tell me what a hurdy gurdy is? Perhaps Dave could list a few more Hurdy Gurdy players so that I could see who RB is better than.
As RitchiesHair already said, it's not a common instrument any more. The only people I've actually seen play the hurdy gurdy, apart from Ritchie Blackmore, are Steven Tyler (no, not that one) from the English folk band Misericordia and Elfriede Rungg-Ferrarese from Italian folk band La Zag. Ritchie gets my vote for best of the three because he has a unique way with melody... you may have noticed it in his guitar playing, too
