Is this thread still alive? Hello everybody, I joined only a couple of weeks ago but have been reading this forum for a while. Guess I was too lazy to join. (maybe that's why I can't enter the dp hub anymore...)I'm 38, living in Verona, Italy, purple family fan since when I was 13. Don't know how to turn my two kids onto DP: all they wanna hear is We will rock you and We are the champions! and I don't even particulary like Queen! Suggestions?

You could try telling your kids that this (DP) inspired that (Queen), i.e. the latter wouldn't be like it is without the first mentioned?

Hi, Rezi. The guys from Queen are Purple fans? They ever talked about Purple and being influenced by them? I heard Mercury was a Free fan.....

I don't remember where I read that, and can't remember if it was an interview with them or a jouro writing that Queen were fans.
