He's really in deeply despair.. He probably logged out completely!  But I had yesterday the similar problems! I just could answer to the half quantity of mails! If I pressed on the link, so it happened nothing. Freezed completely!

Mein Computer ist eingefroren, hier im Forum! Wenn ich im Posteingang eine Mail öffnen, lesen und beantworten wollte, kam nix! NIX!! Ich kam zwar auf die Hauptseite rein, aber konnte auch hier nicht mehr weiter, da auch hier alles eingefroren war!

Do I have a problem? Now is that the right question to ask...what really is a problem? Is it anything but one yet not found solution?
What if there are no solution? Then it's not a problem, it's a dead end streat! I don't get where you're heading!
So yes, I have a problem being asked this difficult question!
