I agree with your dog (no matter who's pooping)

The way things are going I think sales to the general public should be banned.

Re: Fireworks

It sounds very much the same here in the US from mid-June until mid-August! The sale of fireworks is illegal in New York state, but Canada is not that far, and neither is Pennsylvania (where - and please someone correct me if I have this wrong - I understand it is legal to buy fireworks, as long as you're not a resident of Pennsylvania). We also have a Native American casino very nearby my home, and since they are a sovereign nation, they sell fireworks all the time!

I actually knew what November 5th was - I've got a kind of family connection to that. According to a legend (I don't know how accurate this is - I read about it in a Nova Scotia newspaper once), the guard who arrested Guy Fawkes was later knighted by the King as "Sir Ronald (or Roland) Ketchum", since he had 'ketch-ed' the plotters. My family name is Ketchum, and our family originally came from Cambridge, England sometime in the 1600's, I think. That legend is also close to me, because my father's name was Ronald, and his father's name was Roland! I know it's probably not true, but it's a nice story for my family to tell, anyways!
