Re: Jon Lord on Teasar
Very insighful. Wow to think Jon Lord was there during the making of Teaser. Wonder what studio it was done in for the recording? LA, NYC or Trident in London? More than likely LA.
Wondering what bonus trax might show up?

Re: Jon Lord on Teasar
I agree with the recordings happening more than likely in L.A - just because that's where the band were all living during most of that timeframe. Could've been any of the places you suggested, though Spectrum. I'll bet 25 cents it was L.A., though!

Re: Jon Lord on Teasar
All these years ago.... Hard to remember, I'm sure. You're probably right, though. LA. Otherwise, It was thought that Phil Collins recorded the percuasive stuff for SW at Trident in London. Recently, I had sent Phil Collins Official Office a question about the Teaser sessions ..... He actually answered back my question with a ver short, terse answer. He vaguely remembers meeting Tommy Bolin and can't remember the details about his work done on the Teaser sessions, namely, Savannah Woman. LOL. I wonder why. I wonder what kind of package Simon Robinson might put out for the Teaser re-release or whatever record company is putting it out again.
Probably, LA.

Re: Jon Lord on Teasar
Hey, that's cool that you got a response out of Phil. I forget the story, but wasn't it that Phil was doing percussion on an album called "Peter and the Wolf" with someone else who worked on "Teaser," maybe Dannis McKaye? And Phil just came in through that connection? Same studio? Ohhhh memory weak.
