Re: What´s Goin`On Here?
Welcome back Peter!
Everything´s doing fine, as always. The Deep Purple Tour will begin very soon and the Bananas are still yellow with not too much brown blurs, yet.
The forum functions very good(had not much work recently) and there have been lots of funny and interesting things come up the last days. Just browse your ways through the threads and look what you´ll find and add something were you find it neccesarry.
Greetings,
Milan

Re: What´s Goin`On Here?
Although I think I may be in a distinct minority, "What's Goin' On Here?" from the "Burn" album was always one of my favorite tracks on it. The partying aspect/sentiments kind of lost it's appeal long ago, but the loose boogie style has always remained one of my favorites.

So it was to me. I like this song very much - especially Jon´s part of it. He plays great keyboards - piano - on it. It would have been nice to hear it live and I think it might have worked better live as Lay Down Stay Down. What do you think?

I love this track too - Jon's piano solo is a blast, and the whole band sound like they're having a ball.
It was played live, as an encore on the first MkIII dates. Didn't translate as well to the stage as Lay Down Stay Down.
