Re: Any UK dates planned?

I wont be touring exactly "with an orchestra" although it IS more than a "combo!
My touring band is Gtr,Bass,Drums,Percussion,2nd keys, 2 vocalists, Flute/Clarinet, me on piano and occasioinal Hammond and 10 strings. Sure its expensive but not impossible and actually the more concerts I do in the UK the better, as I could spread those expenses, whereas just doing one would be prohibitive. So I hope to be able to visit with most of you! Hopefully sometime in the Autumn/Early Winter.
Kindest regards to all
Jon

Thanks Jon.

Scotland has some nice venues emoticon

Glasgow Royal Concert Hall would be the obvious one.

Re: Any UK dates planned?

Jon ended his message with the words "Kindest regards to all"
If these plans come to fruition then that would be the icing
on the cake for me, and the hint of more than one chance to
finally see Jon in an altogether more "intimate" setting, will be just wonderfull.
So although i know his message ended showing only his good manners
and gentlemanly aproach to life
the regards are on this occasion not needed because the words written
will give all his british fans
(and i truly believe that not even Jon fully grasps the amount
of love and affection his fans over here feel for someone,
who has given so much pleasure for such a long time.
Though in retrospect he can't have failed to noticethe reaction
at the farewell gigs and the reception he received at Wembley)
just the perfect fillip at this time of less than perfect goings on in the world.
This is just a wonderfull statement and i look forward to further
announcements in the future.

That would be fantastic, and I will definitely be trying to make one of the gigs! Would be an excellent end to the year!

Many thanks for taking time out to dispell my fears! emoticon

Cheers,

If you're still around Jon, it has come to my attention that you played on one track on Tommy Bolin's Teaser album.

What track is it? I never realised you played on this album!

Cheers,
Rahul

Tamadam hit the nail on the head.

Can't wait. emoticon

Can we expect www.jonlord.com to be live any time soon? Hopefully any prospective tour dates would be posted there first.

I've got two hands, I can play that - Vic Savage, Spinal Tap.

No kiddin'! Really? I've never heard Jon played on Teaser and I'm a bit scepticical - maybe piano, can't think of any *sounds* resembling Jon on Teaser.
