Re: Another TV appearance

Thanks very much to Sandbagger1 for putting that link up,
it was my first chance to see any of the stuff that has
been going on in the recent past.I was hoping to see
the new dvd before listening to the cd version of some
of these songs, only to now find that there will be no u.k
release at all, so that has blown that one.
still, that song is STUNNING!

That Christmas "special thingy" was worth the torture of watching _the_whole_program_!_

But sadly not taped.

Re: Another TV appearance

Well, there's yet another TV appearance by Jon tonight, I didn't want to create a whole new thread for it because it's only a short segment (about 2 minutes) on a show. NDR's "Die Aktuelle Schaubude" showed a clip with Jon saying a few words as a birthday greeting to German actor Jan Fedder, who's a big Purple fan, also signing a "Battle Rages On" concert poster and a "Machine Head" LP later handed over to a proud Fedder after the clip. For those with German TV, it's repeated tonight at 02.15. Some old DP clips (Cal. Jam/Beat Club) were also shown during the bit, but the ill-informed female presenter of the show made the mistake in the introduction of saying DP doesn't exist as a band anymore...

But more interesting was Jon's promise to play a Purple song during his concert in Hamburg next month as birthday gift...

Well, he could also play A-200... just kidding, Jon emoticon However, Ritchie played a nice guitar solo in that one.

April is a cracking suggestion!

Alternatively how about the 2nd Movement of the Concerto?
