Eddie Kramer started off producing Slide It In. Guilty of Love/Gambler single was rush-released so they had some material out for their Donington appearance in 83. Coverdale was unhappy with Kramer's work,

I remember that "Guilty Of Love" picture single disc,it had the shape of DC in handcuffs. That was the E.Kramer production and the sound was terribly - how to say - sheety/hollow (lack of proper bass etc) .
Then I've read Davids negative comment on the production and after Martin had layed his hands on it,everything was fine.

Re: Jon on Slide It In (US)

i burned a CD of the UK versions immediately followed by the US versions to compare each song (too lazy to use the remote obviously)

The only real difference I could hear was missing keyboard solo. Can't remeber which track off the top of my head.

Any one else picked up on this?
