New forums for the front page?

1: Deep Purple 1968-1976
2: Rod Evans, Nick Simper, David Coverdale, Glenn Hughes, Tommy Bolin, before and after Purple
3: Deep Purple 1984-2002
4: Jon Lord, Joe Satriani, Ritchie Blackmore, Joe Lynn Turner, before and after Purple
5: Deep Purple 2003-onwards
6: Gillan, Glover, Paice, Morse, Airey, outside of Purple

Otherwise, 'general' and 'news' might get flooded.

Nigel

I´m not to sure if we should split up the forum that much. I´ll make a board when I know there´s a lot to talk about and we know much about it. How much do we really know about the sessions for instance? Of course I´ll try out some boards, but I´m not sure if there´s need for so many.
I think Niko agrees with me on this.

cheers,

Milan

I think you should start with not so much boards and then you can add more some times later. It is fine how it is today. dd

Yes, it's really fine. It only needs a better software.
Here is one I really like

http://www.deep-purple.ru/scgi-bin/mwf/forum_show.pl

Pleasent coulors for the eyes and easy to handle, especially to read.emoticon

Thanks for the link to Snakehead.

Without joke. The colours here are too strong for my eyes.

I agree with Nigel on this. Yes, you can have too many boards but if you don't make the necessary distinctions then the General section will become swamped.

You may not know that much, but for some people it's a passion! emoticon

Re: New forums for the front page?

I do miss the 1980 Bogus DP board. There was a lot of information about this time in the old forum, and some people like Kevin Collier wrote interesting things about the people involved, or the connection to the "Steppenwolf" band in ´79 or ´80.
Or is no one interrested in Rod today? I can´t belive that.

Cheers,
 Hase
