Anyone seen this before ? I stumbled across it on E-Bay, there's also a Whitesnake t-shirt from the seller.

Fraud. Look at the label, and then the motives. When is the Jon Lord picture from, around Sarabande? And still exactly same kind of t-shirt. They are not official.

MrSnip,
when was the last time you looked inside the Machine Head album cover????
How could you forget that photo?
I can still remember the first time I saw that picture.
I don't collect the T's like I used to,I have over 60 Purple,Rainbow,Gillan and Whitesnake T's,and to tell you the truth, only around half of them are official tour merch, the rest I bought in different countries around the world, from street and outside the venue vendors,I sure wish we had those vendors in America, but for some reason paranoia keeps the pirates away.
I like most of the pirate T's better than any of the official ones, due to the integrity of the pirates,in the design department.(only of course)
I'd sure like to have me one of these Lord shirts, and I can honestly say I've thought about this design for a shirt before, but since I don't make them,I never got past the thought.
I wonder what I could fetch at ebay for my Whitesnake sleeveless T from the Slide In tour,it has their autographs written on the front...yes,even Cozy.

Sandbagger1,deeppurple.net used to carry a Jon Lord Sarabande T shirt in the online store, you might still be able to get one.

I don´t collect t´s. But when I buy one it has to be official. The rest is worthless, then I can make them myself. And of course an official t-shirt is worthless unless you´ve actually bought it at the gig yourself, though I know some kids like to buy them at ebay.

Oops, for some reason I took you for a lifetime fan, sorry about that, man Ingrid must keep you filled in on plenty, that is since she has talked of seeing them in 1970.
Never the less, that shot is a memorable one,but I can see it not being that way,so much later.

I considered making a T or two,but that was just about around the first time I went to Europe, when I came back with 10 or 15 of them.
All the pirates I have,I've never worn, except to the odd gig here and there, cos most of them are of pretty bad quality, and I don't want them ruined with someone beer spill,or too many washings.

One should take care no to jump to too many conclusions. I didn´t bother to buy machine head for many years. The extremely lousy sound, always was a downer for me, and I never liked MH untill the Anniversarry edition came out. But I had it on tape.

As I wrote I only buy officials, and I wear them regularly. The only one not living up to standards was the House Of Blue Light one. The print stayed but the shirt rotted.

...I think I have one of those, the print looks as if it were air brushed, really nice, and it's held up all these years, but I think I wore it and washed it one too many times, cos the super thin material it's made of,is incredibly poor.
Picture of the whole band posing on the front,Blackmore in that hideous green leather blazer,Lord with that godawful pair of glasses he wore at the time, and Gillan wearing a similar T to this one????

The material sounds like the same. The front was the door, from the album. Semi-long sleeves, in different colour. As I remember something written down the sleeves, but I am not sure. I bought it the first time I had the chance to see DP, February 28th 1987 in Gothenburg Sweden.
