"Archival" Digging...

I know it'll probably be a pain in the ass for most people, but I, for one, will be digging through the old pages on this and the "Non Purple" board before posting any new topics, as I'd hate to see something that nay be of interest (and that's nearly impossible to know) to newer posters getting dropped in order to fit in the new topic.
I've just become aware the last couple of days that that's how this forum works, and I hope more people will go back and check if there's something they'd like to add their thoughts/opinion(s) on before it disappears into cyberspace.
Perhaps Milan or one of the other administrators would go back and move those topics that might be more suitable to other boards (?), thus opening up room on these two boards I've mentioned, that seem to generate the most topic traffic.
I know, I know...this new topic just bumped something off! I think it was a "New Members" one or maybe "Members' Names" one or something...

Well, er...not exactly, but damn close! emoticon
Some of the topics could've been more properly placed on Glen Hughes' board, or the Ritchie + Related board or in the Inn Rock board or...

Seriously, though - great job + thanks, Milan! emoticon

I know what you mean. This is the common solution, though. Still I´ll pick up on your suggestion and look through the topics which rather belongs where and so on...

Cheers!

Just thought I'd ask, Milan - is there any hope in sight for a "search" option on the forum? Has "The God of Thunder" given any updates on that, yet?
Just a further refinement on my idea for what to archive, maybe topics that generated 5 or less responses would be suitable for the next "archiving action".If you need any help with that, Milan, I'll be glad to dig through and provide you with a list of topic titles + the page # they can be found on in the "Purple Discussions" + "Non Purple" boards.

Nothing new yet, no.

Re: "Archival" Digging...

Seeing as it looks like we're the only two on here at the moment, Milan - I got a couple more questions.
I sit easier to just move the stuff I'm listing to one of the archives or the other, or to put it on what may be more proper boards? Anyway, I've got the first 31 threads from the "Purple Discussions" board all listed, with suggestions as to where I think they might be more properly placed. I leave it to you to delete at your option any that generated 0 replies, or to delete any at all. I mention deleting because of the context of my next question - how much can the archives hold?
Last question - should I put the list out here in "Feedback" for my next post, or send it to you via inbox message?

It depends on how much it is and where it is. But moving some to proper boards would be of course a better solution for the first instance.

50 threads each, as much as every other section. We´re not there yet, but if we are we have to celebrate a huge "Delete-Fest" with debates of what could be still of importance and what´s not need any longer.
In most cases it should be easy, though.

Send me a pm, it would also be very helpful if you could also provide the links to the topics or at least the sites where they currently are stocked.
