Re: Have you gotten any new dvds lately?
"Miles Davis: Miles Electric" From the famous "Isle of Wight Festival, 1970". A 40 minutes jam in the style of "Biches Brew". It's amazing how powerful jazz can be sometimes. New interviews with the musicians who played with Miles (Chick Corea, Airto, Dave Holland,...).
Miles has this dark evil man aura on stage. Similar to Blackmore, but in the jazz scene.

Psychedelia: The Ultimate Anthology
Got this off a bargain bin. Has interesting stuff like Lucifer's Friend and Family on it. And you really owe it to yourselves to see the lead singer of Atomic Rooster eating a sandwhich during his band's instrumental solos!

Re: Have you gotten any new dvds lately?
YES Dunferpurple. I agree.
This band was something special. And they were multiinstrumentalists. I also can recommend SOFT MACHINE, BRUFORD and UK with Allan Holdsworth.

Re: Have you gotten any new dvds lately?
The quite terrible action/comedy "Water" (1985) starring Michael Caine - and Jon Lord(!) - is out now on R2 DVD. In May follows R1.

Re: Have you gotten any new dvds lately?
Anyone seen this R2 DVD, released in February? Apparently it features 'Complete Live Performances By Slade From 1972'...
