Re: Have you gotten any new dvds lately?
Not so much a music DVD, but there may be a Purple connection to this one, though not musically.
Just watched the new Kate Hudson movie "The Skeleton Key" (it co-stars John Hurt and Gena Rowlands), and in one of the many documentaries (entitled "Blues In The Bayou", about the music of New Orleans used in the film) the film's musical supervisor is one Sara Lord. I believe this is Jon's daughter, right ?
She's interviewed, brunette and English (British) accent, even looks a bit like him. Would make sense if she's also in the music business, I should think. Quite interesting to discover this bit, and many apologies if it isn't her of course.

Re: Have you gotten any new dvds lately?
Just got the Slade Best DVD. Crappy editing when it came to inserting some band comments between certain clips, but since we have little of Slade on DVD, it's fine. The music is what counts and it's good on this one.
I hope there's a more comprehensive DVD for them one day. I understand there are some promotional videos that aren't on this DVD which I'd love to see.
