July/August now! By the time these get out the credit card I used to preorder will have expired.
I wish they would just let us know 1 week before this stuff comes out. I hate hearing about it years ahead of time and constantly being re-scheduled.

I read that. I don't see though what these clips will show us that we haven't really seen. It isn't like a highly compressed video clip will show off the quality of the DVD.

Yeah I also don´t see why I should be too excited about this. I know the footage for ages, the only thing I haven´t seen will be the entire Smoke On The Water performance at Hofstra. All I still need to know is who actually did the commentary. Except that I still hope that they enhanced the video and especially the sound quality and that´s nothing a compressed clip could show me.
Still I´m very excited about this of which I think will be THE music DVD release of the year!

We do not have the same collection of boots as you have. Ever considered that there are people who are really looking forward to this because this footage is something they have never seen before?
C'mon Milan, allow us the excitement of THE music DVD release of the year....

I am looking forward to it. I just don't see what internet clips will prove in terms of the quality.

Forget it, we are in the mp3 age Remember, people encode mp3´s to flac!, VCD´s to DVD! It´s too late.

Words cannot describe how excited I am. Despite it being b/w the bad sound and bad camera work and the short setlist this video is my most watched with friends concert video I have along with Zeppelin´s The Song Remains The Same(which is also by far my most borrowed video).
Although it´s out of print it´s still pretty avaiable(at least it was when I got it 5 years ago), but it shouldn´t be to hard to get via e-bay, it´s a regular release and not a bootleg.
As for the Hofstra Footage, yes that´s right I have two bootleg sources that have Strange Kind Of Woman and Space Truckin´ on it, both in bad quality and without Smoke On The Water though.
So I´m really looking forward to this DVD RELEASE OF THE YEAR to have better sound and picture for the Denmark concert and the three songs that exist of Hofstra in good quality.
But I´m still sceptic about those promised clips, but then again that´s what makes me curious, and I´m looking forward to things I´m curious about.
