Re: California Jam (1974) and Live in Denmark (1972) in March 2005!
The complete version of madrake root
should be something like 25mins.
A friend of mine has the complete
version discovered from a bunch of
old U-matic tapes bought from a
rock promoter in Finland.
Contacts with Simon Robinson have been
made to release this, but Simon was
not interested. So I guess this means
DPAS has access to the BBC masters.
Cheers!

P.S. I'm pretty sure this South Bank show
will be released officially in the forthcoming DVD series.

Wow if that´s true it would be the longest videoed version of Mandrake Root around!
Anyway, according to the DPAS Family tree the Doing Their Thing performance is definitly planned to be included on one of the future Archive releases.

Interesting!
The 12.5 minutes was definitely all that was broadcast at the time - I've got a tape of the full TV programme. If the uncut performance exists, this is great news.

The other Hofstra track was Strange Kind Of Woman.

I wonder what the real story is about Hofstra? Is the whole concert truely lost? Or is it that Dick Clark will only allow the 3 songs as broadcast in 73?

Re: California Jam (1974) and Live in Denmark (1972) in March 2005!
Yeah it was something with February/March(or early spring in general).
I wonder why there still isn´t any update on this yet.
But it seems to be definite that the Archive DVD with Denmark 72 and Hofstra will come out first.
Is there a website of T2? The only company of that name I found on the internet didn´t have anything to do with the production of music DVDs.
