well I do know that Anya from the Stuggart show was going to be included in the New Live And Rare dvd but was scrapped for some reason, and If it wasn't pro-shot
then it would have never even been considered in the first place. emoticon

David you must not have read my previous post.
I never said she sang bacstage at the Birmingham gig.
It was a completely different gig,
and the rest of the band heard about it the next day and were furious about it and that's when all hell broke loose
and Ritchie never spoke another word to anyone in the band
and got the hell out of dodge.
He had no decency to face up to such a foul move.

Trollprincess you have a point,
but it doesen't begin to excuse Ritchie's childish behavior. emoticon

Well I certainly don't recall seeing any professional camera's onstage that night in Stuttgart. I agree, the German shows should have been filmed....or maybe even the Oslo show?
With regard to Candy singing bv's on DTC, if the band had a problem with it, then they did not confront Ritchie over it. The only time "hell broke loose" was when Ritchie resigned.

Me neither, but I guess yo can do pro video's without having have an actual camera on stage. I wrote I guess. There are things out the called zoom lenses.

You're quite right MrSnip. I do remember certain TV camera's being at some of the shows, but only allowed to film the first 3 songs.

They had a big problem with Canice singing,
there was a meeting held over it and that's when the !@#$ hit the fan,you don't go behind the back's of your bandmates like that and get away easy.
They were pissed beyond word's. emoticon

Hmmm i think all this anger at the water throwing is blown way out of proportion. Something like that in the 70's would have been medioker (i cant spell emoticon). Thinking back to events like the guitar smash on Cal Jam, on Scandinavian nights Gillan interupts the singing of HS to hit someone with his mike stand, and when i saw them at the NEC in Sept 2002 he kept giving the camera men agro and even missed a verse in SOTW in the distraction. So maybe its not worth getting quite so angry over Blackers little show. In my opinion anyway

But the band meeting didn't include Ritchie. Why didn't they say anything?? If that was the case, why was her mic set up every night?
Who knows??

I didn't realise her mic was set up every night,
were did you hear that one?
The incedent I speak of only happened once
and the band were often meeting up without Ritchie on that tour, rehearsing without him even, because he simply wasn't showing up and when he did it would usually be late.
He would then express his concern by asking what the hell are you guy's doing starting without me. emoticon

I know he'll probably tell you later anyway but it's late and I'm bored. emoticon

englishrob is Rob Fodder, Ritchie's assistant at the time and, needless to say, he was there while everything was going down.

I know who he is but that doesen't explain
her mic stand being set up every night, and the fact that she only sang once.
Aparrently he didn't pay attention to thing's that were the
band's buisness and not just Ritchies affair's.
Plus I'm sure he will tell us that he wasn't there every last minute of the time.
There is a hell of a lot going on when touring.
They keep thing's as private as they can,
they have lives you know.
Someone working for them doesen't know everything. emoticon

Even a guy like ER know's only what he pay's attention to
and that can't possibly be everything that happened.
I'm sure alot of the stuff that happened,he heard about after the fact as well.Maybe even speculation to an extant.
