Masters From The Vault
What is this DVD? It has no info at this site neither to amazon. and at the upcoming releases it only mentioned one day earlier. There is a mystery about that subject...

I just found some news on this release. Since it is in Dutch I will translate what they are saying.
"Deep Purple - Masters from the vault.
This DVD offers a great overview of the rich history of this band. Rare footage of early performances from various European TV broadcasts. Some 'trial versions' are played of songs wich would become absolute classics such as Child in Time and Speed King. Also on this DVD footage of the first TV catured performance of the Mark II lineup with Blackmore, Lord, Paice, Glover and Gillan. As bonusmaterial there are four Ian Gillan versions of Deep Purple classics. Total playing tome 62 minutes, 5.1 Dolby Digital."
Release date is 25th November.

I guess maybe I'll have to fork over the cash
since it has some commentary.
I can now put the laser disc to rest,that thing cost
a whopping 80 bucks.

Would be great indeed but I have a bad feeling they might mean the three Beat Club performances, which are great in their own right of course but were released on DVD a year ago!

Is it the 'Doing their thing' reissue from the video cassete?
