Noticed this dvd in my local HMV today. Not sure at all what it's all about. Any ideas anyone?

Is this the one by Classic Rock Productions (CRaP)?

If so, expect a product that has its basis in a good idea, yet manages to disappoint in just about every way.

CRaP reminds me of a former co-worker: given the choice of two options, he'd always manage to choose the wrong one.

That's how I see CRaP. They get a good idea, then manage to muck it up.

Of course, that's just my opinion based on the purchase of one of their other products and feedback I've heard about other products. Differing points of view are welcome.

It seems that the DVD has the following songs:

1. Speed King
2. Mandrake Root
3. Wring That Neck
4. Child In Time
5. Fireball
6. Strange Kind Of Woman
7. Highway Star
8. Lazy

1 and 4 from Doing Their Thing
5 - 8 are from Scandinavian Nights Denmark 1972
2 and 3 Paris 1970

Seems that CRP got the rights for the Paris show, they included a snippet in the Inside DVD...

The logo you can see on top right of the screen: ORTF / INA clearly shows it's french

INA is a society which archives TV programmes ... and makes you pay a lot to use them !!

ORTF is the name of the french TV channel when we only had one

It must be Pop Deux extra footage : Ritchie has his black strat and I guess if you look carefully you around him, you'll see eyeglasses guys.

That merits a little bit more detailed work but I think it is.

Has anyone already noticed that someone near Ritchie holds a camera ? I wonder if the guy still owns his tape !

I don't think handheld video recorders were that popular in 1970

I don't think so either, Michael. Perhaps an 8mm film camera? They made them that size in 1970, didn't they?
