Custom 1984 Reunion DVD

Maybe there is someone out there that could put together a custom DVD of clips from the reunion era like promo videos and interview clips. I would by it.

Creating a DVD is not the problem. Several of us are doing it. Collecting material in an acceptable quality is the problem...

Maybe we can pull our recources. If we can jointly get MPEG-2 clips together from the best available sources we can get something together.

This would be a wonderful under taking, if anyone is interested in adding better audio to the mix, let me know.

I'm interested. Let's talk. A reunion DVD is way past due.

I wouldn't call the NL&R DVD a reunion DVD. It is a great DVD. But more weighted towards the lineup w/Steve. I want a DVD that concentrates on the reunion ONLY. There is so much footage in the "vaults". If an official release isn't gong to happen then maybe we can put a custom job together of what we all have (best sources of course).

One thing we would have to decide is NTSC or PAL? I live in NTSC land but can use PAL. It is easier to convert "on a PC" NTSC to PAL. So I would probably say PAL would be better. And probably most of the old interview footage was broadcast in PAL anyway. Not too much of that stuff was on TV here in the US.

I want to get the best version of Space Trucking Providence RI on there. I have a decent copy but it could be upgraded.

I use TMPEG encoder to encode my mpegs. It is an fantasic encoder.
