Re: Purple/Rainbow Langley dvd-r
I take it the Perfect Reunion is the Paris '85 show.
If I'm wrong then please tell me what show it is,I (might) be able to help.

Just out of curiosity, why is that not a worthy trade?

Re: Purple/Rainbow Langley dvd-r
Paris is one of the single worst examles
of the reunion tour I can think of.
Gillans voice was shot,the rockpalast
sound men sucked that night and couldn't get the mix right.
The Rainbow concert on the other hand is
brilliant,not much can beat this.
Ritchie played with such comand presence
that it makes this show second to none.
Combined with the Japanese orchestra during DTC it's one of the best shows around, supurb.
I'm not a JLT supporter like you Christos
but I'll still take him on that night over sitting through Gillan in Paris anyday.
Paris is good as a memoire but something will surface sooner or later from '85 that will blow it away.
As a matter of fact I have two old vhs tapes from the tour that would do the job
however I won't be transfering them anytime soon. They are:
1)Rochester NY
2)Montreal Forum

Re: Purple/Rainbow Langley dvd-r
Gillan was awful in Paris 85, but all the others were in fire that day. which to me is a good reason to take this video.

Re: Purple/Rainbow Langley dvd-r
As I wrote above, even the rest of the band weren't playing anything compared to the two performances I saw that year or on the two audience tapes I have.
