Albums to laze around to!
Currently enjoying a couple of days off work, not doing much, and chilling with some quality music.
So it got me thinking, what ten albums do you think are the best for putting on, when you're doing absolutely nothing. Preferably when the sun is shining, and the worries of work are a distant memory, even if it's just for a brief moment.
1. Harvest - Neil Young
2. Forever Changes - Love
3. Downtown, Saturday - Nadine
4. Self-titled - Buffalo Springfield
5. Argus - Wishbone Ash
6. Legend - Poco
7. Fat City - Sons of Champlin
8. Play Me Out - Glenn Hughes
9. Desperado - The Eagles
10. No More Mr Lucky - Randall Bramblett
--- We are here to watch three men, and three men only.
Would you welcome please, Robin Trower.

Wishbone Ash - Argus
Bob Dylan - Desire
Peter Gabriel - Us
Tom Waits - Closing Time
Rush - Moving Pictures
Miles Davis - Kind Of Blue
Jon Lord - Pictured Within
Roger Glover - Snapshot
Ian Gillan - Dreamcatcher

King Crimson - The Power to Believe
Mmmhhh, I´d say half of the tunes would work for me to. But Level Five, Elektrik, Happy With What You Have To Be Happy With and The Power To Believe III(Deception Of The Thrush) are a bit too hard on the mind for me to chill out too. But I would agree for tunes like Eyes Wide Open and The Power To Believe II(Power Circle) and IV.

I'd follow your suggestions regarding "Harvest", "Buffalo Springfield" + "Desperado", Rahul. If the criteria stays on 'sunny days', I would suggest "Endless Summer" by the Beach Boys. Now, I'll try + come up with 10 all on my onesies...
1) "Photographs + Memories" Jim Croce
2) "Unplugged" Eric Clapton
3) "Story of A Life" Harry Chapin
4) "Creedence Country" Creedence Clearwater
5) "Past, Present + Future" Al Stewart
6) "Endless Summer" Beach Boys
7) "Jesus Christ Superstar" Original studio recording (The best listen for a spiritual recharge on a lazy Sunday! / )
8) "16 Golden Greats" Johnny Cash
9) "Unplugged" 10,000 Maniacs
10) "Before the Flood" [live] or "Blood On The Tracks" Bob Dylan
...and being a huge Bob Dylan fan - of his early 60s - mid 70s work, anyway - I don't hesitate to suggest any of the following:
"The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan"
"The Times They Are A-Changin'"
"Another Side of Bob Dylan"
"Bringing It All Back Home"
"Highway 61 Revisited"
"Blonde on Blonde"
"John Wesley Harding"
"Nashville Skyline"
"Blood on the Tracks"
"The Basement Tapes"
"Desire"

Yeah!
Niko, agree on Stormbringer - the best DP record to this topic!
Anything Dire Straits would do as well.
