Re: Favourite Instrumentals

Sorry GM, On Inspiration there is vocals about 1:30 into the song, as credited to Mark Boals in the foldout notes. I not trying to be smart, it would make a great instrumental. emoticon

Beck's Bolero - Jeff Beck
Home Bound - Ted Nugent
The Blister - Cozy Powell

malm51

what do you mean credited to Mark Boals?
I suppose you are speaking of him doing vocals?
Have you heard the Scorpions version?I do have an instrumental of this somewhere in my Scorpions collection, not sure where it appears, maybe I have been out of the room while it has been playing on the Inspiration cd,thanks for clearing up the confusion.

Yes GM, After you mentioned "Inspiration", i thought maybe this version is instrumental. Played the tune.....after 1 min 30 secs the vocals kicked in, extended intro i believe. The fold-out notes supplied with the cd that i have, states the vocals are done by Mark Boals. I have not heard an Instrumental version done by the Scorps, maybe it was a demo?.

I'm not altogether sure now that you mention it,I could have been mistaken, maybe I just like the instrumentation so much that it slipped my mind after all these years that the song has vocals.

Kohoutek is fantastic. I can't remember who on this forum recommended early Journey to me but I'm glad they did. It's a "different" Journey but it's much better than I was expecting it to be.

I'm not familiar with Look into the Future. Is it another pre-Perry album? If so, I'll put it on my list emoticon
