on the radio Wednesday

Morning all
I will be doing my awesome radio show on Wednesday 27th Sept. I will be inteviewing Jerry Bloom author of the new biography on your favourite guitarist TMIB (Black Knight) between 1 and 2 pm GMT. Longer if its going well. Mr Bloom will be picking songs from said guitarists' career. Please feel free to send any questions during the show and I will put them to him. I HAVE read the book and it is a facinating (spelling?) view of Ritchie's career. personally if he does not pick Place in Line as one of the finest solos then he can expect short shrift from me.

Hi, Doogie - thanks for the 'heads up' (well, 'ears up' in this case, I guess emoticon) and yeah, it sounds like it should be quite interesting.
I wholeheartedly agree - and have thought as such since I first heard it in 1973 - that his work in "Place In Line" is some of the finest work Blackmore has ever done.
Oh, and just to be a smart horse's ass - it's 'fascinating'. emoticon/emoticon

"Place in the Line" is forgotten gold, indeed!
