1=) Perpendicular
1=) Bananas
1=) Perfect Strangers
4) The House of Blue Light
5) Abandon

haven't heard S&M or TBRO

Can't decide between the first 3: I like them all equally and for different reasons: they are all three awesome albums, and HOBL is also a fabulous album.

I would rate those four albums up there alongside Fireball, Machine Head and In Rock as the best of Purple

Styx, Deep Purple and Iron Maiden - music doesn't get any better than that

 So, not accidentally on purpose, then? emoticon (Seriously, I know what you mean...I get a bit annoyed when the site goes so slow that you - or I, or anyone else for that matter - feels the need to click that "submit reply" button once twice or thrice in order to make sure what you typed got posted emoticon )

You have to realize that as soon as you actually hit the reply button, the reply has been added. If it takes to long open a new browser window and then you´ll be able to check your post. It´s there, even if the old browser window is still loading.

 Yeah, my computer whiz wife explaned that to me a few months ago when I fell into the "double posting syndrome" for a day or so emoticon .
 Just as a quick aside, have I ever shared with you folks one of the banes of my existence? I'm married to a JLT fan! She recently decided to fix my wagon by creating a screensaver of the @#%*# and wouldn't tell me how to get rid of it or change it! Some joke, huh? emoticon
I had to enlist the aid of one of my computer whiz nephews who's since taught me a trick or two to prevent such travesties in the future emoticon
