Re: The Album Top 100
Ed, you are a musically talented person. I've never doubted it, but if you can really distiguish one George Thorogood album from another, you're a bloody genious!

The irony of that is that I've heard the very same thing regarding us Deep Purple fans from people before, too.

The difference of course is that (apart from the Mk1 albums) the real difficulty with Thorogood albums is, which Hank Snow/Howlin' Wolf/Chuck Berry/John Lee Hooker/Hank Williams/etc./etc./ cover is on which album...
I do like some songs by Thorogood (I Drink Alone, Bad to the Bone...). But an album artist he is not, says the yoda writing this!

Funnily enough, I agree with that statement that Thorogood's not really an 'album' artist. I would've been more comfortable just putting in "The Anthology" (a 2 cd set) for my Thorogood entry, but I was trying to stay with the 'spirit' of the thread and avoid compilations + anthologys as much as possible. If the 'rules' for compiling these lists are loosened up a bit regarding using compilations + anthologys, I'll be delighted to revise my list accordingly.
