Re: Top10 ballads/love songs
Well, not that I'm feeling all that slushy right now, but:
Deep Purple - Soldier Of Fortune
Metallica - The Unforgiven II
Dream Theater - Space-Dye Vest
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Dosed
Coverdale Page - Take Me For A Little While
Dio - As Long As It's Not About Love
Blackmore's Night - I Still Remember
Counting Crows - Colorblind
REM - At My Most Beautiful
Van Halen - Love Walks In

Purple - Soldier Of Fortune
Rainbow - Rainbow Eyes
Vandenberg - Burning Heart
Tommy Bolin - Hello Again
David Coverdale - Wherever You May Go
David Coverdale - Say You Love Me
Whitesnake - Ain't No Love In The Heart Of The City
Scorpions - Always Somewhere
Heart - I Love You
Thin Lizzy - Still In Love With You
Blackmore's Night - Wish You Were Here *
and of course the mighty Tap's "Lick My Love Pump"
* I know this song is loathed by many, but I love it.

You would loathe it too if you'd only hear the original Rednex version.
It kinda ruined the BN version for me, no matter how good of a solo Ritchie has near the ending.

I like it too. It's from their best album, and it's a fine way to close out.

Re: Top10 ballads/love songs
As Niko said, the problem with the track is that it's originally done by a disco band. I think the original is decent as well, but having heard Cotton-Eyed Joe by Rednex, I just can't listen to the original.
The last time I saw BN they did the song as a part of medley and when CN started it, audience gave them a big hand.
The only thing that I don't like in the song itself is the line "I miss you like hell". Sounds very convincing but not that romantic!

Yeah, that line bugs me too.
More like cheesy as hell.
