Sam Apple Pie
Has anyone ever heard of the group Sam Apple Pie?
I first heard them on a BBC Radio 1 show called ‘Sequence’ in 1973, in which they had recorded a session. The session was brilliant and inspired me to get the only 2 albums they had made which unfortunately proved to be a disappointment. The BBC recordings however consisted of the same material as their second album ‘East 17’ but the sound and mix was a lot better. I would recommend this tape if it still exists to anyone who appreciates good heavy rock music. Does anyone know how to get a copy of the above session from the BBC?
