 Postal strike
Just to let those of us outside of the UK know - there's a lot of disruption to the postal service here. London is worst affected, but it seems to be spreading around the country. Apparently there's already quite a backlog of mail that hasn't yet been sorted - so folk posting to/waiting on boots from the UK could be affected. Post should get through eventually, but there could be quite a delay...

I'm waiting for boots of a different kind, my BN boots are in the post and if I don't get them by the 10th I'll have to hunt round and spend £60+ I don't have so I can use my £20odd ticket and £60 worth of other concert-going clothes and the £110 hotel stay that is now too late to cancel.

I reckon I will too. I'm assuming anything coming from abroad probably arrives in London first? If so, it could be in amongst the other 15 million letters and parcels lying about in a sorting office somewhere....

Too right mate. The only reason I posted this topic was so that traders/bootheads didn't start blaming each other if their stuff doesn't arrive. If anyone's waiting for a trade, it might be an idea just to drop another email and let them know the UK system might be heading for a shutdown!
