Anyway, they did NOT work, roadies back and forth, nothing helped, and the band went straight into SIFLS.
SM had a lot of trouble with his gear that night.
His tech was in and out like shot from a canon through a revolving door !
I was in 1. row right before SM with only the fence between him and me, and I tell you the look he gave his tech when that poor bastard for the third or fourth time in a row failed to make SMs rackmounted effects bypass so SM could not get a ' clean ' tone , that look could kill anyone...
( never even seen the moody one look that mad in concert, ever ! )
