Can Jon Lord play guitar?

Let's switch the scenario in the opposite direction:

Can he? Has it been done?

And the main reason I ask (in both the threads I posted) is that I know both RB and JL are not only masters of their chosen instruments, but masters of music (in the classical sense) in general. And most "masters of music", can readily adapt to more than one instrument, even if it isn't their main instrument.

So I'll once again ask, does any know of, or can site instances where Jon picked up guitar and played?

Are there any samples out there of his playing?

I'd again be curious how a man who has built his whole life around an instrument whose playing surface is a linear 2 x 61 (in the case of the double-manual organ), or 1 x 88 (in the case of the piano) key bed, might handle the more laterally oriented guitar whose playing surface is a 6 x 18 string bed?

Didn't you know that Jon secretly had a guitar under his hammond all those years? Yes, it's what really gave that hammond that hammer effect!

I know how a guitar works, I can also play a few chords, but of course it is easier for me to write on a keyboard.

How do you know when "keys1" is lurking?

Do you mean he's come on as a member, and you can see his username up top, or does he come in logged off, and you can see him as a guest? If the latter, how in Lord's name (pardon the pun) are you able to do that?

Ah hah!!! This does not surprise me.

"Campfire Chords" is one thing, but can he pull off a solo?

The "HUSH" organ solo on guitar....now that I'd like to hear. emoticon

And what I mean my campfire chords, is simply playing backing triads (three note chords, usually some combo of 1-3-5, 3-5-1, or 5-1-3), while backing your own vocals:

"Michael row the boat ashore, halalula..."

This is the basis of most American Folk, and certainly nothing I'm making fun of. If Jon Lord can do this, he's still way better than I could ever do on guitar.

The best I ever did was the "Sunshine of Your Love" riff....and that's just playing one finger on the E string...bass style. I can't even play it right, so there...I'm not one to talk.
