Re: Question about 'The Final Mark III Concerts'
I'm looking forward to the planned release of the two other shows, and especially Saarbrucken!
Meanwhile, this topic served as a reminder that I haven't gotten LIP yet!
Is the sound on LIP improved from FC, I was a bit disappointed to the sound on that (MIE is one of the best sounding DP live albums, it has that warm and beefy sound!).

There is a marked improvement with Ian Paice's sound - the drums have a tinny quality on 'Final Concerts'... Blackmore seems to have been turned down a little in the mix and his solo on the Paris version of Stormbringer isn't as good as the Final Concerts version... I wished they - whoever mixes the music - would get it all right on one of these Stormbringer tour albums!

Now I'm totally confused. Are the Paris shows edited or not??
Though Xavier46 already answered you, Atle, I'll second what they said - the material from the April 7th show that's on "MkIII - The Final Concerts" & "Live In Europe" (I believe) that's being questioned here was released in edited form on both releases...on "Live In Paris '75" the edits have been restored.
If that helps to get you from totally confused to simply confused, Xavier46 & myself have done our jobs.
