I like Total Abandon much better than Perihelion. Great performances by Steve and Jon. Steve does some superb impros in the solos. Especially the quiter parts are great. Just listen to all the details he puts into his playing... And the 2.0 Sound of TA is much better than the 5.1 Sound of Peri imo. And this documentation thing quite funny. Theres also a clip of a performance of Into The Fire, and Ians vocals on that song are  holy !@#$...
*edit* So, I was a bit late I think  Which one did you get? Oh, and a happy new year @all of you

I was at the "Into The Fire" performance,and some day,all four nights will see the light of day,when THOB starts to go under,or need alot of finance money,I presume,cause the cameras never stop rolling in that club,and these days they have DVD's in them,so they get recorded and kept for archival purposes,sooner or later they will need the money,and give up rights to their footage,it will happen.
The 2.0 sound on TA is fine,but to say it's better that the 5.1 and DTS mixes on Perihelion,just isn't true.
But if you listen to TA in 5.1...ah then you have got a problem,cause that is one botched mix if I ever heard one.
(maybe the second edition was well corrected,but since I already bought the original and gold versions,I won't buy another one)

I went with TA as the present, but then selfishly ordered one of each for myself.
