Paicey's china cymbal...
I cannot believe my good fortune. A week ago I was hired to play on a record for a guy here in toronto, and my payment was a 22" Paiste china cymbal that was sent for Paicey to use at Live 8 in Barrie last summer. I'm torn...I used it on a gig last week, but the thought of either losing it or maybe damaging it leads me to consider just putting it on the wall. Any opinions?

Re: Paicey's china cymbal...
Thats what I'm leaning towards...I also have the snare drum he used at the gig. Its a Pearl Ian Paice signature. I have developed a bit of a reputation locally for my appreciation of Ian's enormous contribution to rock drumming, and the guys at Pearl asked if I'd loan it out to the backline company. Of course, I was too happy to. Unfortunately, the passes I requested in exchange didnt happen, but I had tix anyway...
Of course, these treasures are not, nor ever will be seen on ebay-I consider myself extremely lucky to have had them fall in my lap!
