reading between the lines to suit your cause is the childish part,really now,what on earth does that have to do with it?
I simply suggested that you're short on things because you reflect that...don't be so sure about me...you only know what you read,same as me.

I believe you are trying to quote me from the thread that ponders for replacements. I said that I can play the old DP standards (since that's all they play these days anyway), I may have only mentioned SOTW or HS, as good as Morse. I never said that I can play guitar in general as good as Smiley and definately never said I can play better. Only the songs in question can I do a more accurate take on. I can play those tunes with more of a Blackmore feel and have better tone for SOTW. Smiley seems to take very simple songs and complicate them which takes away from thier feel and power. I really don't consider myself that good at all and am just a bedroom player, but would rather hear my versions of those two songs, and add SKOW, than the Smiley Ones Widdlin all over them.
I'll keep my namesake thank you. You should not read any more into what I, or anyone else says in order to keep your dignity, if any, in any further discussions.
